Banana Cake Recipe

Banana Cake Recipe

Banana cake is a novel concept, but not an altogether unusual one. We have so many different types of cakes, such as strawberry cake and mango cake. While most fruity cakes have an artificial flavor that you can always taste, this one is different because it only uses real bananas. By making the cakes with lots of banana and no flavoring, this cake is sure to blow anyone and everyone away!

The layers are made essentially of the same batter that you would make banana bread out of, with multiple bananas and some sour cream or greek yogurt. The main difference between this dish and typical banana bread is the way it stacks the two layers of banana bread on top of one another with some cream in the middle and add some bananas on top of the who ordeal.

If you and the people you’ll be serving it to have no allergies, I highly recommend adding half of a cup of chopped walnuts to each layer, as well as half of a cup of dried cranberries! This gives your bread much more flavor and texture. But beware- if you’re planning to add the cranberries, take out some of the white sugar from you bread as the cranberries are super sweet and can overpower your dish if you’re not careful!
