  • 1 ripe banana halved lengthwise
  • 1 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1 tbsp hot fudge topping
  • 1 tbsp caramel topping
  • 1/4 cup whipped cream
  • 1 tbsp chopped toasted walnuts

  1. Turn the oven up to broil and place a rack in the upper third of the oven. Place banana, cut side up, on a small rimmed baking sheet covered with foil. Sprinkle the banana evenly with brown sugar and cinnamon. Broil that thing until the sugar mixture is melted and bubbly, about 2 to 3 minutes.

  2. Place the caramelized banana in a serving dish. Top it with the vanilla ice cream, and drizzle with hot fudge and caramel. Top with whipped cream, and sprinkle with walnuts.
