Caramelized Banana Split
Get your spoons ready because this easy dessert is better than Christmas!
- 1 ripe banana halved lengthwise
- 1 tbsp dark brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
- 1 tbsp hot fudge topping
- 1 tbsp caramel topping
- 1/4 cup whipped cream
- 1 tbsp chopped toasted walnuts
Preheat oven to broil with oven rack in the upper third of the oven. Place banana, cut side up, on a small rimmed baking sheet covered with aluminum foil. Sprinkle banana evenly with brown sugar and cinnamon. Broil until sugar mixture is melted and bubbly, 2 to 3 minutes.
Place caramelized banana in a serving dish. Top with ice cream, and drizzle with hot fudge and caramel. Top with whipped cream, and sprinkle with walnuts.
