Pound Cake Chocolate Fondue
This is the pound cake we make every year, now full of chocolate fondue!

Ingredients
For Bread Bowl
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 tbsp pure vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- 1 pound cake
For Dipping
- sliced bananas
- sliced apples
- strawberries
- graham crackers
- whatever else goes good with chocolate
Instructions

Place chocolate chips in a medium heat-proof bowl. In a small pot over medium heat, heat heavy cream, vanilla, and a pinch of salt until it's all simmering.

Pour cream over the chocolate and let it sit for 5 minutes. Afterwards, whisk until it becomes a smooth mixture.

Making sure to leave a ½” border, hollow out the middle of the pound cake, being careful not to cut through the bottom. Cut the removed pieces of pound cake into bite size pieces.

Pour ganache into the hollowed-out pound cake and serve with reserved pound cake pieces and desired dippers.
