Who says it needs to be Christmas for you to enjoy peppermint sweets?
Prep Time 10 minutes
- 12 ounces high-quality dark chocolate coarsely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 5 candy canes coarsely crushed
Place the candy canes in a zip top bag. Crush into small pieces.
Line a baking sheet with parchment. Melt the chocolate over a double boiler.
Remove and stir in peppermint extract.
Pour the chocolate onto the baking sheet and spread evenly. Sprinkle crushed candy canes over top.
Let cool or freeze for 30 minutes.
Break into pieces.
Serve and enjoy! 😀
