Forget Red Lobster, Make Cheddar Biscuits at Home!

Cheddar Biscuits

Red Lobster's cheddar biscuits are great, but I can't be bothered to wait for a table and shell out for one of their entrees just to get a basket. Forget those guys, just make 'em right in your kitchen!

Ingredients

  • 3 c. all-purpose baking mix
  • 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder divided
  • 4 tbsp. salted butter melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450° F. In a large bowl, combine the baking mix, cheddar cheese, milk, and 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder. Stir to form a loose dough.

  2. Line a rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper and spoon the dough into 9 even mounds, about 2 inches apart. Bake at 450° until golden, about 8 minutes.

  3. Stir together the butter and remaining ¼ teaspoon garlic powder and brush over the tops of the biscuits. Serve warm. Great with thick soups!
