BBQ-Chicken Monkey Bread Ring
Smokey BBQ flavor in convenient, snackable ring form!
- 2 Packages Store-bought Pre-made Pizza Dough
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tspn Salt
- 1/2 tspn Ground Black Pepper
- 1 tspn Garlic Powder
- 3 cups Mozzarella
- 1 Chopped Red Onion
- 2 cups Cooked Chicken Meat
- 1/4 cup BBQ Sauce
Open pizza dough packages and cut them in half length-wise. Then cut them evenly width-wise to create small balls of dough.
Place the balls of dough in a large mixing bowl and carefully mix in the olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to coat each dough-ball .
Add in the mozzarella and red onions. Mix carefully and set aside.
In another mixing bowl, add the chicken and mix in the bbq sauce.
Carefully mix the chicken into the bowl of dough, making sure each dough-ball is coated evenly and well with the ingredients.
Line the bottom of a cast-iron skillet or a baking tray in a circular shape.
Using a smaller oven-safe bowl, place in the middle of the circle of dough. This will hold the dough in place as it bakes to form the ring shape.
Bake at 375 Degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes.
Take the small bowl off the bread ring and bake an additional 10 minutes.
Pour bbq sauce or any other sauce of your preference in the middle of the bread ring for dipping. Serve and enjoy!
