Apples are amazing. Not just the tech company, but the fruit! The phrase “an apple a day keeps the doctor away” is very true- apples are an amazing source of potassium, phosphorus, calcium, iron, zinc, manganese, folate, niacin, and magnesium.
They’re also a source of vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C, E, and K! When we normally think of apples, we normally think of the bright red variety, something you’d see in Snow White or something you would bring on the first day of school to your teacher. Something that you don’t think about too much is the green apple, but did you know that they have even more health benefits than the original red? Try them the next time for a snack, and think of these facts when you do!
Green apples have a higher proportion of health benefits than red apples. They have more of the necessary minerals, vitamins, and fiber found in all apples per bite than red apples! This means that even a smaller green apple has just as much, or even more, vitamins, minerals, and fiber than red apples! Even with the increased health benefits, green apples have less carbohydrates and sugar than a red apple, which is even better for your health!
