Apple Slab Pie
Delicious apple pie in a baking pan, best served with vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients
- 7 granny smith apple
- 3/4 cup sugar
- salt
- 3 tbsp corn starch
- 2 tspn cinnamon
- 1 orange zest
- 4 pre-made pie crusts
Instructions

Peel the apples, core, and chop into smaller chunks.

Combine the apples with the sugar, pinch of salt, corn starch, cinnamon, and zest of one orange in a mixing bowl.

Layer two pie crusts on top of each other and use a rolling pin to flatten. Cut into 3/4 inch strips.

Layer the other two pie crusts on top of each other and flatten. Place the pie crust on a baking pan and shape it into the pan.

Pour the apples into the pie crust and lay them out evenly.

Use the pie crust strips to create a latticed pie top, pinching in the ends into the bottom layer pie crust.

Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 to 40 minutes.
