Ingredients

  • 1 pkg frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Monterej Jack cheese shredded
  • 4 slices bacon cooked and chopped
  • 1 pkg ranch seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • ranch dressing for dipping
  • sliced green onions for topping
  • wooden skewers

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven based on the directions on the tots' packaging, then spray a jelly-roll pan with cooking spray. Combine the tater tots with ranch seasoning and salt and pour it all onto baking sheet. Bake the tots, again according to package directions, until golden brown and done. Let 'em cool for a few minutes.

  2. Set the oven to 425˚F. Thread the slightly cooled tots onto wooden skewers and arrange them on a baking sheet. Top them with cheddar, Monterey Jack, and bacon. Bake the sheet at 425˚F for about 10 minutes. The cheese should be melted. Remove the sheet from the oven and top with green onions. Serve with some extra ranch for dipping.
