Quick and Easy Chicken Tacos
Try this quick, easy, light, and delicious chicken taco recipe for dinner or for packing meals.
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup salsa
- corn tortillas lightly toasted
- romaine lettuce chopped
- shredded mixed cheese
Place chicken breasts in a pot or pan and add enough water to cover them. Bring to a simmer and cook the chicken for 15 minutes. Remove from the water and pat dry.
Using two forks, shred the chicken and place them in a mixing bowl.
Add the salsa and mix well.
Place about a spoonful or two of the chicken onto the tortilla. Top it with some romaine lettuce and shredded cheese.
