Delicious and crispy sugar and cinnamon-coated baked churros.
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- salt to taste
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tspn vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- cinnamon sugar to coat
- chocolate melted
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Place a saucepan over medium heat and melt the butter and brown sugar in water. Bring to a boil.
Turn off heat and mix in flour.
Mix in vanilla extract, then the eggs.
Transfer mixture to a piping bag with star tip.
Pipe out thick 3-inch strips of batter onto a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
Bake for 10 minutes, then broil until golden brown.
Dredge each baked churro in melted butter, then the cinnamon sugar.
