Springtime Shrimp Pasta
A light and creamy seafood pasta you'll love.
Ingredients
- short pasta 12 oz.
- 1 bag frozen broccoli florets 10 oz.
- green beans 6 oz. trimmed
- large shrimp 8 oz., peeled, deveined, tails left on
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes sliced in half
- 1 cup frozen green peas
- 3/4 cup finely grated Parmesan plus more for serving
- 1/4 cup coarsely chopped basil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves thinly sliced
- 2 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
- 3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Red pepper flakes for serving; optional
Instructions

Bring salted water to boil in a wide saucepan. Add the pasta, garlic cloves, and pepper.

Cover and cook for 7 minutes. Now add frozen broccoli and green beans, cooking for 3 more minutes.

Next is to add the shrimp, frozen peas, cherry tomatoes, and butter. Mix well and cover again. Cook for 3 minutes then remove from the heat.

Sprinkle over lemon zest then Parmesan. Mix well again.
