Ingredients

  • 1 package store-bought crescent dough
  • oil for frying

Glaze

  • 6 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tspn vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Lay out the dough on a cutting board and cut in half. Then roll one half of the dough and flatten with a rolling pin. Cut out donut shapes using a wide rimmed cup for the outer edge and a narrow rimmed cup for the inner edge.

  2. Place the cutout donuts in heated oil (about 350 degrees Fahrenheit or medium-high heat) and fry until golden brown on both sides.

  3. To create the glaze, combine the sugar and vanilla extract. Then gradually mix in the milk.

  4. Dip the donuts in the glaze and then cinnamon sugar (optional).
