Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp. coconut oil
  • 1/4 c. ready-to-eat chocolate chip cookie dough divided
  • 3 tbsp. heavy cream
  • 1/2 c. white chocolate chips
  • Red food coloring gel
  • 1 c. ready-to-eat sugar cookie dough
  • 1 tsp. unsweetened shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small microwavable bowl; nuke it in 30 second intervals, stirring each time, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.

  2. Roll the chocolate chip cookie dough into 6 to 8 small balls, and dip in melted chocolate mixture. Allow the excess chocolate to drip off, and place the balls on a plate lined with parchment paper. Let it chill 10 minutes.

  3. Microwave heavy cream in a small microwavable bowl for 20 seconds. Add the white chocolate chips to the hot cream, and let it stand for 10 seconds. Stir the cream until it becomes smooth. Add red food coloring, 1 drop at a time, until it looks convincingly like bright red marinara.

  4. Place sugar cookie dough in a ricer. Press firmly, and divide the resulting strands among 2 plates. Drizzle with “sauce”, and top with “meatballs”. Sprinkle the shredded coconut over the top for the "Parmesan."

Recipe Notes

Yes, ready-made edible cookie dough is a real thing. No eggs, no risk of salmonella.
