Air Fryer Fried Pickles
Mm, mm. fried pickles. Gimme a plate of 'em, turn around for like, twenty seconds, and you'll get an empty plate back. It's even better if you have an air fryer, 'cause then you can cut the calories a bit. Here's a quick recipe for some yummy fried pickles.
- 2 cup dill pickle slices
- 1 egg whisked with 1 tbsp water
- 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- Ranch for serving
Pat your pickle chips dry with paper towels. In a medium bowl, stir together the breadcrumbs, parmesan, oregano, and garlic powder.
Dredge the pickle chips in the egg you prepared, and then in the breadcrumb mixture. Place the prepared pickles in your air fryer and bake for 10 minutes at the highest temperature. Serve 'em immediately, with ranch for dipping.
Ranch is the go-to for fried pickle dipping. I'm also partial to thousand island and blue cheese, though.
