This Lemon-Ginger Brew is a Wintertime Antioxidant Boost

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. ginger peeled, chopped
  • ½ cup fresh lemon juice
  • cup agave syrup nectar or pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, pulse ginger in a food processor to a coarse paste.
  2. Bring ginger and 6 cups water to a boil in a medium saucepan; reduce heat and simmer until reduced to 3 cups, this should take 30–40 minutes.
  3. Strain into a large container and mix in lemon juice and agave. Let the mixture cool; cover and chill.
  4. Serve and enjoy! 😀
