Lemon Ginger Brew
It's sure to soothe your soul from the battlefield that is flu season.
- 8 oz. ginger peeled, chopped
- ½ cup fresh lemon juice
- ⅓ cup agave syrup nectar or pure maple syrup
In a food processor, pulse ginger in a food processor to a coarse paste.
Bring ginger and 6 cups water to a boil in a medium saucepan; reduce heat and simmer until reduced to 3 cups, this should take 30–40 minutes.
Strain into a large container and mix in lemon juice and agave. Let the mixture cool; cover and chill.
