Coffee Liqueur Affogato with Chocolate Whipped Cream

A mouth-melting parfait dish perfect for your after-dinner coffee treat.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla gelato
  • 2 tbsp prepared espresso
  • 2 tbsp coffee liqueur such as KahlĂșa

Instructions

  1. Combine the cream, powdered sugar, cocoa, and vanilla in a bowl. Beat it all with an electric mixer set to medium until stiff peaks form, about 7 to 8 minutes.

  2. Divide the gelato between 2 small dessert cups. Drizzle them evenly with espresso and coffee liqueur and top them with the chocolate whipped cream you made.
