Chocolate Elephant Ears

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 pinch kosher salt
  • 1 package chocolate puff pastry

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Whisk the salt into the sugar.
  3. Spread half the sugar mixture on a clean countertop. Place the puff pastry square on it.
  4. Sprinkle the other half of the sugar on top. Roll out the puff pastry.
  5. Roll the puff pastry into the middle from both ends. You should have two logs rolled tightly, right next to each other.
  6. Slice into 1/4-1/3 inch slices.
  7. Place on a greased baking sheet and top with more sugar.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven, let cook for a few minutes.
  10. Serve and enjoy! :D
