Tomato Sauce
Your pasta's new favorite sauce.

medium onion

can whole tomatoes
28 oz

stick + 1 tablespoon butter

salt and pepper

Peel the onion and chop in half.

Heat a saucepan over medium heat. Add the can of tomatoes, onion halves, and butter.

Simmer for 45 minutes -- stirring every 10 minutes -- or until the mixture reduces and gets caramelized. Season with salt.

Use the back of your spoon to smush the tomatoes.

Remove the onion and toss with your favorite pasta.
