Easy Homemade Dinner Rolls

No need to worry about opening those bake-at-home roll canisters anymore. These delicious rolls are easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Milk
  • 7 tbsp Melted Butter
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Yeast
  • 2 tspn Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 5 cups Flour
  • 1 tbsp Honey

Toppings

  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Bacon Bits
  • Garlic Butter
  • Chives Chopped

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine milk,5 tbsp melted butter, water and sugar and mix well. Then mix in yeast and let it set for 1 minute.

  2. Add salt, egg, and 4 cups flour and mix until a doughy consistency is formed. Set aside for 30 minutes to let yeast do its work.

  3. Add in another cup of flour and mix so the dough is easier to handle with your hands. Flour working area so the dough does not stick to the surface. Cover with a lightly damp towel for 30 minutes.

  4. Create round rolls with the dough and layer it on the bottom of a skillet. Brush with water

  5. Mix 2 tbsp and 1 tbsp honey and brush it on top of the rolls. Top rolls with your favorite toppings.

  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Serve while still warm and enjoy!
