BBQ Pulled Pork with Slaw

If you've got a slow cooker or a crock pot, you can make delicious pulled pork with slaw.

Ingredients

Pulled Pork

  • 2 Large Onions Sliced
  • 4 lb Boneless Pork Shoulder
  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 1 cup Red WIne Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Mustard Powder

Slaw

  • 1 Onion Sliced
  • 1 lb Red Cabbage Shredded
  • 1 lb Carrots Shredded
  • 1 cup Celery Chopped
  • 1 cup Parsley Chopped
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Sour Cream
  • 1 tbsp White WIne Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Caster Sugar
  • Black Pepper to Taste

Instructions

Pulled Pork

  1. In a large crock pot or slow cooker, combine the large onions, pork shoulder, ketchup, red wine vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, and mustard powder. Mix well. Cook on high for 5 to 6 hours, until the pork shreds easily.

Slaw

  1. Combine the onion, celery, carrots, and parsley. Mix well. Next add the mayo, sour cream, white wine vinegar, caster sugar, and black pepper to taste. Mix well.
