Bake Pita Chips For a Crispy Snack

These crispy points go great with just about any dip.

Ingredients

  • 12 pita bread pockets
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried chervil

Instructions

  1. Turn the oven up to 400 F.

  2. Cut each piece of pita bread into 8 triangles, then place those on a lined baking sheet.

  3. Combine the oil, pepper, salt, basil and chervil in a bowl. Brush each chip with that oil mixture.

  4. Bake the chips for around 7 minutes. Keep an eye on them because they can burn very easily. When the chips are lightly browned and crispy, you're done.
