A quick, savory snack for brunch!
- 4 slices Italian bread 1/2 inch thick
- ½ cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic salt
- 1 large tomato sliced
- 1 cup shredded Italian cheese blend
Preheat the oven to the broiling setting.
Arrange the bread slices on a baking sheet. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil with the garlic salt, then brush that stuff onto the bread. Cover each piece of bread with as many tomato slices as you'd like, then give them a sprinkle with your preference of cheese. Drizzle some olive oil on top of each slice.
Broil the slices for 3 to 5 minutes, until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melty.
