Ham, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich
The perfect late night snack or brunch craving cure.

- 2 slices bread
- 4 slices thick cut ham
- 1/4 cup your favorite melty cheese shredded
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons butter
- salt and pepper
Brush both sides of your bread with butter.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add one slice of bread and top with the ham and cheese. Make a nest in the shredded cheese and crack the egg in. Top with the other slice of bread.
Press the sandwich with a pot cover a=or a heavy plate. Cook for 2 minutes. Flip, then press again for 2-3 minutes.
Remove the sandwich from the pan.
