Tater Tot Casserole
That lunchroom favorite, now a crowd-pleasing dinner!
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pinch salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 1 10.75 ounce can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 16 ounce package frozen tater tots
Turn the oven up to 350 F.
In a big skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, 7 to 10 minutes, then season to taste with salt and black pepper. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, then pour the combined mix into a 9x13-inch baking dish. Layer the tots evenly over the beef mixture and top with Cheddar cheese.
Bake the dish until the tots are golden brown and hot, 30 to 45 minutes.
