- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
-
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and vanilla extract until well combined.
-
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
-
Fold in the flour and chocolate chips until just combined.
-
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
-
Combine the sweetened condensed milk, unsalted butter, and corn syrup in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir constantly until the butter is melted and the mixture is smooth.
-
Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
-
Drizzle the caramel sauce over the brownie batter, using a spatula or knife to swirl it into the batter.
-
Bake the brownies for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
-
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
