- 2 ounces 60 ml rum (preferably white or gold rum)
- 4 ounces 120 ml pineapple juice
- 2 ounces 60 ml coconut cream
- 1 cup crushed ice
- Pineapple wedges and maraschino cherries for garnish optional
Combine the rum, pineapple juice, coconut cream, and crushed ice in a blender.
Blend the mixture on high speed until smooth and creamy.
If the consistency is too thick, add a splash of pineapple juice or a little water to thin it out. You can add more ice to achieve the desired thickness if it's too thin.
Once blended, taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness or tanginess by adding more pineapple juice or coconut cream as desired.
Pour the Piña Colada into a tall glass.
Optional: Garnish with a pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry on a toothpick or skewer.
Insert a straw, and serve chilled.
