Savory Garlic and Olive Oil Pasta
Your tongue won't know what hit it.
Ingredients
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 1 cup plus 3 tablespoons olive oil divided
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- 4 oil-packed flat anchovy fillets
- 6 large garlic cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Freshly grated Parmesan for serving
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions.

Drain the pasta, reserving 1/4 cup pasta water.

Thinly slice your garlic cloves.

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Now add the garlic slices, anchovies, salt, and red pepper flakes.

Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the anchovies have dissolved.

Stir in parsley then pour this over the pasta. Toss to coat with toasted breadcrumbs.
