Let This Quick Pantry Pasta Delight Your Tastebuds

Savory Garlic and Olive Oil Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1 cup plus 3 tablespoons olive oil divided
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 4 oil-packed flat anchovy fillets
  • 6 large garlic cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Freshly grated Parmesan for serving

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  2. Drain the pasta, reserving 1/4 cup pasta water.
  3. Thinly slice your garlic cloves.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Now add the garlic slices, anchovies, salt, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the anchovies have dissolved.
  6. Stir in parsley then pour this over the pasta. Toss to coat with toasted breadcrumbs.
  7. Serve and enjoy! 😀
