Apple Cider Bourbon Cocktail
The perfect cocktail to welcome the autumn colors.
- 14 apples chopped
- 2 oranges sliced
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 5-6 sticks cinnamon
- 1 whole nutmeg
- 1 tbsp whole cloves
- 1 oz bourbon
Place the apples, oranges, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves into a large pot and fill with water until it is just below the top of the fruits.
Turn the heat on low and cook until the apples become soft. Mash the apples and oranges.
Use a cheese cloth to strain the liquid into a large bowl.
Rub and orange slice around the rim of a whiskey or cocktail glass. Dip the rim in a cinnamon sugar mix.
Add ice and pour the bourbon over the ice.
Pour 2 ounces of the apple cider and garnish with a cinnamon stick and a sprig of rosemary.
