One Pot Ham and Potato Soup
An easy and hearty ham and potato soup made in one pot.

Ingredients
- 2 Bacon Strips Cut into quarters
- 1 cup Onion Chopped
- 1 cup Carrots Chopped
- 1 cup Celery Chopped
- 3 tbsp Flour
- 2 cups Ham Chopped
- 2 Potatoes Cubed
- 1 Thyme Sprig
- 1 tspn Ground Black Pepper
- 6 cups Chicken Broth
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 2 cups Cream
Instructions

Heat a pan on medium-high heat and cook the bacon is browned with the fat melted off. Add the onion and continue to cook until onions are tender.

Add in the carrots and celery and cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

Add in the flour and mix well.

Add the ham, potato, thyme leaves, black pepper, and chicken broth. Mix well, add the bay leaves, cover and bring to a boil.

Remove bay leaves and add the cream. Continue to stir so it does not burn and serve hot.
