Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork ground beef, chicken, or turkey can be used as a substitute
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp honey
  • ½ cup uncooked long grain white rice or jasmine rice

Instructions

  1. Set your Instant Pot to sauté. When it's heated up, add in the pork and break it up with a spatula. Let the pork brown for 5 minutes, then stir in the garlic.

  2. Turn off the Instant Pot, stir in the water and scrape the bottom of the pot. Add in the soy sauce, honey and rice and stir it all together.

  3. Secure the Instant Pot lid, make sure the valve is sealed, and set it to pressure cook for 5 minutes.

  4. When time is up, leave the pot for 5 minutes, then vent the valve. Take the lid off and stir the meat.

  5. Serve the meat over your favorite shredded greens.

Recipe Notes

You can store any leftovers in the fridge in a Tupperware. For reasons I don't entirely understand, it actually tastes even better the next day!
