Instant Pot Honey Garlic Pork
An easy Instant Pot meal that's great served on a lettuce wrap!
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork ground beef, chicken, or turkey can be used as a substitute
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup water
- ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp honey
- ½ cup uncooked long grain white rice or jasmine rice
Instructions
-
Set your Instant Pot to sauté. When it's heated up, add in the pork and break it up with a spatula. Let the pork brown for 5 minutes, then stir in the garlic.
-
Turn off the Instant Pot, stir in the water and scrape the bottom of the pot. Add in the soy sauce, honey and rice and stir it all together.
-
Secure the Instant Pot lid, make sure the valve is sealed, and set it to pressure cook for 5 minutes.
-
When time is up, leave the pot for 5 minutes, then vent the valve. Take the lid off and stir the meat.
-
Serve the meat over your favorite shredded greens.
Recipe Notes
You can store any leftovers in the fridge in a Tupperware. For reasons I don't entirely understand, it actually tastes even better the next day!
