Pumpkin Butter

Smooth and sweet pumpkin butter, perfect for an English muffin.

Servings 40

Ingredients

  • 1 29 ounce can pumpkin puree
  • ¾ cup apple juice
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 ½ cups white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a big saucepan and stir well. Get the mix boiling on the stove. Reduce the heat and let the mix simmer for 30 minutes or until thickened. Make sure to stir frequently as it simmers.

  2. Transfer the butter to clean containers and let them chill in the fridge until you want to use them.
