Bacon always seems to be “in,” and it’s definitely proving that with this recipe. Simplicity is the name of the game with these small yet delectable dippers. Just a few ingredients end up creating some major flavor. Oh, and did we mention they are healthy, too? Now you can appease any picky eater that may come to your next gathering…serve them bacon asparagus dippers!
8 slices bacon, sliced in half lengthwise
1 lb. asparagus, trimmed
Freshly ground black pepper
Caesar dressing, for dipping
1. Preheat oven to 400°. Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and top with a cooling rack.
2. Prepare asparagus: Carefully wrap a piece of bacon around an asparagus spear in a spiral. Repeat until you have 16 bacon-wrapped asparagus spears. Season with pepper.
3. Place on top of the rack and bake until bacon is crispy, 28 to 30 minutes.
4. Serve with Caesar dressing for dipping.
