Pizza Bombs
Sauce and cheese wrapped up in crispy biscuits.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter for greasing the pan
- 16 ½ oz can of biscuit dough 1 can
- marinara sauce
- sliced pepperoni
- 8 oz ball of mozzarella cheese cut into cubes
- butter melted
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
- shredded parmesan cheese for topping
Instructions
-
Crank the oven to 375°F. While that's heating up, start by lining a baking sheet with parchment, then grease it with butter.
-
Empty out the biscuit dough can and cut each one in half. Using your thumb, press the halves into circles.
-
In the center of each biscuit, dollop some marinara sauce, then add 1 pepperoni, and a cube of mozzarella.
-
Fold the edges of the biscuits over and press them together. Make sure the filling can't leak out. Lay the filled biscuits out on the baking sheet.
-
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
-
Brush the butter mixture you just made onto each filled biscuit and top them off with some Parmesan.
-
Bake those guys for 15-20 minutes. They should be nicely browned when they're ready.
-
Once the biscuits are cool enough that you can touch them, serve them up with some marinara for dipping.
