Baked Chicken Nuggets

Make 'em a little lighter in the oven!

Ingredients

  • 3 skinless boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • ½ cup butter melted

Instructions

  1. Turn the oven up to 400 F.

  2. Cut the chicken into 1 1/2-inch sized pieces. In a mixing bowl, mix up the bread crumbs, cheese, salt, thyme and basil. Make sure to really mix it thoroughly!

  3. Pour the melted butter into a small dipping dish and dip the chicken pieces into it. Coat the buttered chicken with the breadcrumb mixture. Place the coated chicken pieces on a lightly greased baking sheet in a single layer, then bake 'em in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
