Tart apples and sweet caramel unite in a single dessert.
Turn the oven up to 375 F.
In a mixing bowl, stir the caramel and cinnamon together. Toss the apples in the bowl, mixing them around to get a nice, even coat. Spread the mixture into an 8-inch square baking dish.
In the same bowl you used before, mix the flour and brown sugar. Cut the butter with a knife or pastry blender until the mixture looks coarse crumbs. Stir in the oats, then crumble that stuff over the apples.
Bake the pan in the preheated oven until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender, 45 to 50 minutes.
