Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Earl Grey tea leaves
  • 2 1.5 fluid ounce jiggers gin
  • white sugar for rimming
  • 1 wedge lemon
  • 1 1.5 fluid ounce jigger fresh lemon juice
  • 2 fluid ounces simple syrup

Instructions

  1. Pour the gin into a small glass, then sprinkle the tea leaves over it. Let the tea steep for 2 hours.

  2. Pour 1/4 to 1/2 inch of sugar onto a small plate and moisten the rims of 2 martini glasses with the lemon wedge. Dip the moistened glasses into the sugar to make your prepped glasses.

  3. Strain the tea-infused gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker over ice. Put the cover on and shake that thing up until the outside of the shaker gets frosty. Strain the drink into the rimmed glasses and serve.
