In a mixing bowl, combine the rye flour, all-purpose flour, caraway seed, salt, onion powder, and garlic powder, then stir in the canola oil and honey with a fork. As you stir, slowly add the water until the dough forms a ball. Put a cover on the bowl and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Turn the oven up to 375 F.
Divide the dough into 4 sections, rolling them out on parchment paper to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut the dough parts into squares and place them on a baking sheet, giving each a few pricks with a fork.
Bake the crackers in the preheated oven until they're crispy and the edges are brown,10 to 12 minutes. Immediately take the crackers out and move them to a rack to cool.
