Nothing beats lasagna, for sure. The only thing better than lasagna is super-easy lasagna!
Cook the beef in a large skillet on medium heat, stirring it around until it crumbles and loses its pink. Drain the fat and stir in the pasta sauce.
Spread one-third of the meat sauce in a lightly greased 11- x 7-inch baking dish and layer with 3 noodles and a half each of ricotta cheese and mozzarella cheese. (the ricotta layers are supposed to be thin.) Repeat procedure; spread the remaining third of meat sauce over the mozzarella cheese. Slowly pour 1/4 cup hot water around the inner edge of the dish. Tightly cover it dish with 2 layers of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
Bake at 375° for 45 minutes, then take the foil off and bake 10 more minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
