Black Bean Hummus

Smooth hummus with a zesty black bean zing.

Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 15 ounce can black beans drain and reserve liquid
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons tahini
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika for garnish
  • 10 Greek olives for garnish

Instructions

  1. In the bowl of a food processor, mince up the garlic. Add in all of the ingredients except the garnishes, process it all until it's smooth. Make sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl. If you'd like some extra zing, add more lemon juice or spice to taste.

  2.  Garnish the finished hummus with paprika and olives.
