Succulent honey garlic chicken for dinner with veggies on the side.
Combine the honey, soy sauce, garlic cloves, dried basil, dried oregano, pepper flakes, and black pepper.
Place 4 chicken thighs on the bottom of a slow cooker and pour half the marinade over the chicken. Add the potatoes and the carrots and place another 4 chicken thighs on top of the carrots. Salt to taste and pour the rest of the marinade over the chicken.
Cook on low for 8 hours of on high for 4 hours. At the last 30 minutes, add in the green beans. You can broil for a crisper skin for 3-4 minutes (optional).
