Total Time 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce adjust to taste for spiciness
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions or cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mixing the Sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic powder, paprika, and a pinch of salt. Whisk everything together until well combined and smooth.
  2. Adjusting Consistency: If you prefer a thinner sauce, you can adjust the consistency by adding a little bit of water or milk, a teaspoon at a time, until you reach your desired thickness.
  3. Taste Test: Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning according to your preference. You can add more Sriracha for extra heat, more honey for sweetness, or more vinegar for tanginess.
  4. Chilling: For the best flavor, let the sauce chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together.
  5. Serving: Once chilled, transfer the Bang Bang Sauce to a serving bowl. Garnish with chopped green onions or cilantro if desired.
  6. Enjoy: Use Bang Bang Sauce as a dipping sauce for shrimp and chicken tenders or as a dressing for salads. It also works great as a topping for tacos, wraps, or sandwiches. Get creative and enjoy the delicious flavors!
  7. Storage: Leftover sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
