Ah, Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King; truly an iconic face of Halloween and Hot Topic lounge pants. The spooky season is upon us, so why don't we honor our favorite Pumpkin King with a tasty treat?
Let's get spooky! Start by lining a medium baking sheet with parchment paper.
Stick the lollipop sticks into the cream of the Oreos. Get 'em in deep enough that they stick, but not so deep that you can't bite the top off.
Mix coconut oil into the white chocolate and dip the Oreos into it until they're completely coated. Place the tray in a refrigerator to harden for 5 to 10 minutes.
Time to show off your skills of an artist. Dip a toothpick into the black icing and draw your best shot at Jack’s face on the Oreos. Let the icing sit for 1 minute to cool slightly and harden. Finally, complete the Pumpkin King's ensemble by tying a black ribbon in a bow at the bottom of each Oreo. A treat for boys and girls of ev-er-y age.
Obviously, you don't need Halloween Oreos in particular. Regular ones will work fine, since the cream tastes the same as the Halloween ones. Oreos also come in lots of different flavors, so pick your favorite!
