Boozy Root Beer Float

A grown-up twist on the soda fountain classic.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 2 tbsp dark rum
  • 3/4 cup bottled hard root beer
  • whipped cream optional

Instructions

  1. Place the vanilla ice cream in a tall glass or beer mug (preferably the latter, since it looks cooler). Add rum and top it with hard root beer. If desired (and it should be), top the drink with whipped cream. Serve immediately.
