Apple Sage Pork Chops

bone-in pork chops

olive oil

medium crisp sweet apples
cut into wedges

sage leaves

teaspoon
kosher salt
plus more

Freshly ground black pepper

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Season the pork chops generously.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Sear pork chops on all sides until golden brown.

Place in a roasting pan. Cook apples, sage, and olive oil together for 3 minutes, until all become browned and tender.

Put all of this around the pork chops to make a nest. Roast until cooked through, about 10 minutes.
