Add a nice smokey flavor to the classic summer drink at your next BBQ.
Pour the sugar onto a flat plat or a small bowl.
Slice the lemons in half width-wise and dip flesh side into the sugar to coat.
Place the lemons, flesh side down, on a heated grill and close lid for 6-8 minutes to let the sugar caramelize. Let cool.
Juice the grilled lemons into a pitcher.
Add the sugar, water, sliced lemon, and ice and stir. Serve and enjoy!
