Whisk together the eggs, milk, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Coat the sliced baguettes with the egg mixture and let soak.
Heat a skillet to medium to medium-high heat and cook the french toasts until browned on both sides.
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium to medium-high heat. Add the brown sugar and stir until melted. Add in the heavy cream and continue to stir until it starts to simmer.
Add in the french toasts and turn to coat both sides with the caramel mixture.
