This sweet, salty, savory, and tender pork will blow your mind.
Bring water to a boil in a pot and add the pork belly, ginger, spring onions, and the garlic. Cook until the pork is fully cooked. Remove pork and set aside.
In a new pot or pan, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat and add the pork. Cook until a browned crust appears on the pork.
Add the brown sugar and stir until the sugar is melted and fully coats the pork.
Add the light and dark soy sauces, rice wine, and water and stir well. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
Serve with white rice.
