Buttercream

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cups icing sugar sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons milk or cream

Instructions

  1. Add the softened butter to a bowl and beat until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add the icing sugar, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Pour in the vanilla extract and milk, then continue mixing until light and fluffy.
  4. Adjust the consistency by adding a little more milk if needed.
  5. Use immediately or cover and store until ready to use.
