Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 half teaspoon salt
  • 3 quarter cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the topping

  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add warm water and olive oil and mix until a soft dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough for about 6 to 8 minutes until smooth. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes until slightly risen.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  4. Roll the dough into a rectangle and place it on the tray.
  5. Mix melted butter with minced garlic and brush it evenly over the dough.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella, Parmesan, and oregano on top.
  7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the cheese melts and the edges turn golden.
  8. Slice into breadsticks and serve warm.
